1746 Sword

1746) DECORATED OFFICERS GRADE AUSTRIAN CALVARY SWORD CIRCA 1610:

Introduction: I have old numerous Austrian Cavalry/riding swords similar to this one through the years. This one, by far, is the absolute best. The construction is superb; I would describe this sword as heavy-duty. Ironically, it’s only priced a little above the cost of the rest.
Description: Constructed with a double-edged, slightly tapering blade, both sides with deep fullers extending about half the length of the blade, decorated on one side with SOLIGEN and a Passau (Soligen?) wolf, the other side the talismanic inscription GIO KEN GT and another wolf. Downwardly curved quillons with side ring, side ring elongated and concaved at its center, the swept hilt open at the top, flat iron pommel with double piercings at the center, the grip wood spirally grooved and wrapped with twisted iron wire with Turks hears. The grip is possibly original or working life.
Length: 103 cm.
Provenance: From an old German collection.
Condition: Superb.
All my items come with the following:

–Free shipping.

–10-day review period.

–Certificate of Authenticity.

–Autographed copy of my book.

– In the event of an international shipment, we will help you assign the lowest correct Customs tariff so you pay the least as low as 5% or even nothing.

I believe you will be very….very…. pleased.

Conclusion: Good quality swords at a reasonable price are becoming harder and harder to find. This sword, in my opinion, has it all, including price. ACT NOW: this one should sell quickly at under $4K!!!*
