Discussion: From a very large castle or cathedral door. Works as well as the day it was made. Main plate is almost 15 inches. In very good condition with a beautiful dark brown patina. A great addition to any collection of Medieval or Gothic Arms and Armor.

Provenance: By tradition from a bombed out castle or cathedral during WWII. Obtained from a German collector about 20 years ago.
